MINUTES OF ASPECIAL COUNCILI MEETING  JANUARY 7,2019  The Hollywood Park City Council met in a Special session on January 7,2019 at 5:30 p.m. in Town Hall. Notice was posted in accordance with the Texas Open Meeting Laws. Mayor Chris Murphy called the meeting to order with the following Council Members present: Mike Howe, Oscar Villarreal, Delaine Hall and Scott Bailey. Also present: City Treasurer-Jeff Hinson, Fire Chief-John Butrico, City Attorney- Michael Brenan and City Secretary-Janice EXECUTIVESESSION Mayor Murphy called the Executive Session at 5:33pm. The City Council will convene in a closed session as authorized by Section 551.017 (2) ofthe Texas Government Code to consult with its attorney on matters in which the duty oft the attorney tot the City Council under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional conduct ofthe State Bar ofTexas clearly conflicts with the Open Meetings Act, specifically the provision of fire protection services outside of the City limits and new digital billboards. Mayor Murphy re-opened the Special meeting at 6:35pm.  Alamia. Absent: Councilmember Debbie Trueman  NEW BUSINESS  1. THE CITY COUNCIL WILL DISCUSS AND MAY TAKE ACTION ON MATTERS DISCUSSED IN THE EXECUTIVE SESSION, INCLUDING FIRE PROTECTION SERVICES OUTSIDE OF THE CITY LIMITS AND NEW DIGITAL BILLBOARDS  a. Citizen Comments:  i. Bob Moore/205 Sunway: Mr. Moore stated he was ok with the outside fire services after speaking with the Fire Chief. He was also in favor of ii. Beau Burkett/Owner of Burkett Media: Mr. Burkett was there to answer questions since he is the company requesting to put the digital billboards  the billboards but was concerned about Voigt Drive.  in HP.  b. Discussion: Mayor Murphy stated this topic would be on the Council Agenda for  voting at the next meeting. No action was taken.
