Gillenwater ChiefofPolice Date: December 02, 2021 Ref: Wrecker Ordinance (113.06, 113.55) It was brought to: my attention that our current wrecker fees are antiquated and have not been updated since 2008. Captain Greene currently acts as our Departmental Wrecker Inspector and was tasked with developing a comparable fee schedule with surrounding agencies. Based on theinformation obtained from Captain Greene Ihave attached the recommended changes. These changes represent a comprehensive schedule that is more simplified than the prior schedule and while it does not stipulate a fixed rate it does intend to set a maximum allowable rate as stated by the ordinance. With the pending retirement of Major Grant and promotion of Captain Greene, Iwould like to relieve Captain Greene ofhis Wrecker Inspector duties as his future role within the department will encompass far more than it currently entails. With this void, I would submit to you Lt. Hunter Thomas as the City Wrecker Inspector. Iappreciate your timei ini this matter and hope you find this information helpful. 311 E.
