Attorney Pachuta requested Executive Session be moved up on the agenda prior to the voter challenge hearings pursuant to Georgia Election Code O.C.G.A. 21-2-230. Assistant Secretary Tucker with a second from Secretary Radzikinas made a motion  to adopt the agenda as amended. Motion carried unanimously.  IV. Adoption of Minutes  A. Regular meeting of June 4, 2024  Assistant Secretary Tucker with a second from Member Thalimer made a motion to approve the minutes as prepared by staff. Motion carried unanimously.  B. Upper Chattahoochee River Soil and Water District Supervisor  Director Smith reported qualifying was currently taking place. One person has  submitted a nominating petition ati this time.  2. SPLOST IX  Director Smith said the BRE will hold a special called meeting to call the special election. The meeting will be held on Monday, July 22, 2024 at 9 a.m.  at the Elections Office.  3. School district ad valorem tax homestead exemption  Director Smith said the BRE will hold a special called meeting to call the special election. The meeting will be held on Monday, July 22, 2024 at 9 a.m.  at the Elections Office.  4. Set absentee ballot drop box hours and location  Assistant Secretary Tucker with a second from Member Thalimer made a motion the hours of the absentee ballot drop box will be the same as the Advance Voting hours and the location of the drop box will be in the lobby of  the Elections Office. Set date, time and location of election certification meeting  Vice Chairman Natt with a second from Member Thalimer made a motion to add the certification of the November 5 elections to the November 12, 2024    Regular Meeting agenda immediately following public comments.
