Page 11 Greene County October 7th, 2024 4:00pm Meeting Minutes Called Meeting of the Planning & Zoning Commission Call to Order: At4:02pm Chairman Chris. Peters called to ordert the meeting of the Greene County Planning & Zoning Commission. After the invocation given by Chairman Peters, those in attendance stood fort the Pledge of Allegiance led by Chairman Peters Roll Call: Members Present: Chris Peters (Chair), AIE Brinkman, Eric Smith, Tommy Swann, Jim Lynch P&ZS Staff Present: Chuck Wooley (Building Official), DeAnn Hester (Zoning Administrator) 1) Public hearing on the Greene County Zoning Ordinance amendments that are being proposed. The proposed revisions address, among other things, the CPUD Zoning District's permitted uses, which permits for-profit daycare facilities in the district; the revisions also modify the conditions under which special events can be held; and theyi incorporate modifications to the PUD regulations that apply only tot the Greater Greensboro Character Area, as outlined int the County Comprehensive Building Official Chuck Wooley gave al brief summary of the proposed amendments to the Greene Public Comment: Ray Brindley asked whatt the density would be int the new UPUD zoning class and Members Absent: None Quorum Present: Yes New Business: Plan, to create provisions for an urbanized residential development. County Zoning Ordinance. Building Official Wooley advised thati it would be 4.0 units per acre. Citizens Present: Ray Brindley Adjournment: Tommy Swann made ther motion to adjourn the meeting and, Jim Lynch seconded the motion. The vote was unanimous ini favor oft the motion.
