City of Hudson Special Called Meeting Minutes  City Council of the City of Hudson, Texas, met in regular session Thursday, May 02, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. at City Hall, 3458 Ted Trout Dr., Hudson, Texas, for the purpose of considering the following agenda items. The City Council reserves the right to meet ina closed session on any agenda item should the need arise and if applicable pursuant to authorization by Title 5, Chapter 551, of the Texas Government Code.  1. Call to Order 2. Invocation 3. Quorum Check Aq quorum was present: Terry Taliaferro and Frankie Ornduff. Absent (at Quorum Check): Other City Officials present: Rodney McCarty, Public' Works Director Cheryl Everett, City Secretary Other City Employees present: Other City Affiliates present:  Mayor Robert Smith called the meeting to order at 5:01p.m.  Mayor Robert Smith gave the invocation.  Quorum Check was called by City Secretary Cheryl Everett.  Councilmembers: Mayor Pro Tem Phil Adkison, Juan Ramos, Sherry Hellwig  Other Guests present: (as per Sign In Sheet) Michael Parker w/Everett Griffith Engineers  4. DISCUSSION. AND ACTION to approve Grand View Estates Plat. Discussion: Michael Parker with Everett Griffith went over the Plat for Grand Action: Councimember Terry Taliaferro moved to approve Grand View Estates Plat with the condition that the fire hydrant is put in the city limits.  View Estates.  Mayor Pro Tem Phil Adkison seconded the motion. Five (5) for and none (0) opposed - Motion Passed.  5. ADJOURN 5:21 P.M  Councimember Terry Taliaferro moved to adjourn the meeting.
