Project  Commission Member/Counci Member Kelli Matula stated that the project is open to all Simonton residents, not only to those residents residing in Valley Lodge. She stated that CIA Services (POA) will send an email announcement of the project to all Valley Lodge residents. The Commission decided that it will focus on clean-up for the fall project and planting as the spring project. Commission Member Karen Long stated that a litter audit andi inventory will bei required per Keep Texas Beautiful. A discussion ensued: regarding the application process and that the search for volunteers should be aj joint effort with thel POA. CIA services will be donating gas for chainsaws and other equipment, as well as providing lunch and possibly breakfast. The City of Simonton, ori in the alternative HEB, will provide Commission Member/Council Member Kelli Matiila willdraft a flyer regarding the project tol be disseminated this week (he week of September 9,2024), She stated that she will speak to City Council at thei next Regular Meetingion September 17,2024: regarding their possible Motion by Commission Member/Council: Member Kelli Matula to approve the Fall  water for the volunteers.  involvement and volunteerism. The date for theTrash Off-Fall Community Project is October 6, 2024 starting at 8:00  a.m.  Home Tour  he Commission discussed. the need for volunteer homeowners to participate in Home Tour City Secretary, Nanci Mohrread the list of possible volunteers from the August 5, 2024 Règular Meeting notes. Commission Member Angela King suggested adding Community, Member Abbie Ferguson to the list of homeowners to contact. Commission Member/Council Member Kelli Matula stated that Susan La Dart is a confirmed homeowner; CommissionMember: Sheri Buck is to contact all oft the volunteers to confirm Commission Member Karen Long stated that a list ofhome sites will not be released to the public, and that there will be a map oft the home sites printed on the purchased ticket.
