Call to order, roll call, and announce a quorum is present. Consider and act upon the minutes from the August 13, 2024 meeting of the Oak Point Economic Director Hankins made a motion to approve the minutes from the August 13, 2024 meeting of the Oak  Point Economic Development Corporation; motion seconded by Director Weiler. 5. Review and discuss thet financial report of the Oak Point Economic Development Corporation. City Manager Ashley gave the financial report for August and answered questions.  Motion Passed 5-0  6. Report from Management Analyst. City Staff Harris gave the following updates:  Ar reminder that the EDC formed a subcommittee to look into facilitating a business mentorship  program.  Lal Rustica will receive its lump-sum rental assistance payment on 10-1. The joint work session meeting with Halff will take place on 10-22. Austin. Catalyst will attend the October meeting to give finer updates.  He and Catalyst were able to make further inroads with prospective retailers at Retail Live in City Staff are offering to develop a presentation with guidance from the City Attorney to revisit  the legal roles of and EDC and an MDD. A city permit report was shared with the group.  7. Wayfinding Signage Update. the following weeks.  Wayfinding sign construction will begin on 9-18, and work will proceed in phases until it is completed in    8.
