County Correspondence: Judge Clark (Verbal) announced Nate Mara, City Manager ofl Decatur, having received the Citizen of the year award at Decatur Chamber of Commerce Commissioner Shawn (Verbal) reports closing down Pecan Street in the city of Commissioner Shawn (Verbal) reports bridge replacement on County Road 3451 beginning October 28th requiring a 4-month closure. Information on traffic detour Banquet. Paradise on October 15th for a paving, job. will be provided to the public as soon as possible. 6. Coordination and cooperation for efficiency between precincts: None to approve issuing this National 4-H Week proclamation as read. 7. Motion made by Burns, seconded by Shawn, and unanimously adopted by the Court Judge Clark presented aj proclamation that designates October 6-12, 2024 as National 4-H week in Texas and commends the 4-H youth development program of the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service and the many men and women who have made the program a success. Judge Clark (Verbal) reports the auditor's office tracking capital murder case expenses separately to have a good idea on how much they are running; although, some are to be reimbursed. Clark announced the next meeting as Monday, October 28, 2024 regular meeting. Judge Clark announced the November meeting being held Tuesday, November 12th since Monday, the 11", is Veteran's day. He states that it will be the only meeting in November due to not meeting the week of Thanksgiving and that there will only be one meeting in December as well. BACK TOI ITEM #5 - COUNTY CORRESPONDENCE: Judge Clark (Verbal) announced two events: luncheon for the state oft the county. Oct 22nd at 11:30a.m. A joint Decatur/Bridgeport annual chamber October 24th at 6:30p.m. - The South Wise Republican Club will host an evening at the Aurora Baptist Church to do an update of the state of the county and the courthouse restoration update. BACK TOITEM #15 - RIGHT OF WAY IMPROVEMENIS: Motion made by Burns, seconded by Shawn, and unanimously adopted by the Court to approve commissioners' request for necessary access onto private property toc clean or clear county right ofway areas to improve public safety and public transportation safety purposes as described. (no attachments) Commissioner Burns request right of way access on Allen Sessions Property, on CR2175, by Roadside Park to finish clearing up fence line for public safety. Commissioner Shawn requests right ofway access for Dons A/C in Paradise to clean up parking lot as for they are quite often allowed to use it without charge. 19.
