CITY OF NORTHWEST SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING TUESDAY, MAY 18, 2021 7:00 PM  ASSEMBLY  The Northwest City Council held their special meeting on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at 7:00 Present were: Mayor James Knox; Councilmen: Charles Carroll, Michael Troy,Aaron  PM, at Northwest City Hall, 4889 Vernon Road. Perkins, Haywood Miller, and Councilwoman Sheila Grady Also present were: Donna Strickland, City Clerk Mayor Knox called the meeting to order at 7:001 PM. Councilman Haywood Miller gave the invocation.  CALL TO ORDER & INVOCATION  DISCUSSION & ACTION: ITEMS 1. FY-2021/2022 BUDGET  City Clerk, Donna Strickland reviewed the General Fund budget revenue and expenses with Council. She also reviewed the revenue and expenses for Powell Bill Fund. Mrs. Strickland stated that the General Fund is balanced with a fund balance appropriation of $211,254. Mrs. Strickland pointed out to Council that the revenues that have been projected are  very conservative.  After discussion,  Itv was the CONSENSUS of Council to have the Clerk/Finance Officer prepare the  Budget Ordinances from what has been presented tonight.  A copy of the budget worksheets will be placed in Exhibit Book V.  2. . DISTRICTING MAP After discussion,  Councilman Charles Carroll MOVED, SECONDED by Councilman Michael Troy to move forward. with dividing the City ofNorthwest into four(4) districts. The MOTION CARRIED  UNANIMOUSLY ADJOURNMENT  Councilman Michael Troy MOVED, SECONDED by Councilman Aaron Perkins to  adjourn the meeting at 8:00PM. The MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.
