REPORTS Director's Report SCA: Case ManorementTreatment/Prevention Updates: 1 Butler County Drug & Alcohol Advisory Board- - September 17,2024 Meeting Minutes - The Center on Center update- The Center continues to be open three days a week from 1:00-7:00pm and membership has grown to over 100 individuals. The Center now offers weekly meetings including Refuge Recovery, al Professionals in Recovery meeting, an. All Recovery meeting, al bi-monthly Faces of Recovery as well as a bi-monthly Mothers/Women in Recovery meeting. The Center is no longer hosting heART for Sobriety on Friday afternoons. The Centeri is currently in the process ofplanning weekly artrecovery-Dased activities but first they will need The Center recently hosted another ice cream social on September 13th. Faces of] Recovery hosted a bingo night on August 24th and they are planning a masquerade for the evening of The Center rented a bus to go to the Pittsburgh Recovery Walk on September 7th. Approximately 28 individuals participated in the event, wearing purple Center on Center tie-dyed T-shirts! At the end of August, DDAP notified SCA's that they had remaining American Rescue Plan (ARP) Supplement funding and would like to make it available to the SCA. We have submitted a request for a total of$375,000 in funding to be used for treatment services, recovery housing On August 31st, our office, in conjunction with the Butler County Opioid Overdose Coalition, held an event to commemorate International Overdose Awareness Day. Thej purpose oft the event ist to: remember those who have died without stigma, acknowledge the griefofthe family and friends left behind, and to raise awareness ofoverdose. This was a beautiful evening (except for As ofl last week, there have been 31 confirmed overdose deaths thus far with 6 cases still pending For comparison purposes: at this time last year, there had been 29 confirmed overdose deaths and to completely re-stock all art supplies/activities. SCA CM Monitoring- Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs (DDAP) Updates: As mentioned last month, we completed an annual Case Management meeting with DDAP on August 19th. The meeting consisted ofar review ofDDAP's CMCS manual requirements, a discussion regarding how CM operates in Butler County, how we disseminate information/education within the community, communicable disease requirements, medication assisted treatment, the warm handoff process, and outreach & engagement strategies for priority Asa follow-up to the. August meeting and ongoing monitoring, DDAP will be conducting an on- site CM visit on November 7th. They plan to be at our office for the entire day reviewing client and special populations. charts. State Updates: Nothing to report at this time 2 Butler County Drug & Alcohol Advisory Board- -September 17, 2024 Meeting Minutes Financial Report Case Manager Report Bill Kepple reviewed the allocations and expenditures through June 30, 2024. Tracey Hendrix reviewed the statistics for the Monthly Assessment Services, the Information/Referral Services (IRS), and the Client Location graph for the month of August 2024. Prevention Report Lisa Gill gave an overview of upcoming Drug & Alcohol prevention events and trainings. She reviewed the Prevention Service Data: including the Preyention/'ntervention: Number of Services, and the Number ofl Individuals Served for the month of August 2024. She provided la flyer for the Butler County Recovery Walk & Picnic. Nominating Committee No report. PCCDUpdate Ralph Patrick reported there are thirteen (13) participants in the program. Two people are in inpatient, one is awaiting admission into al halfway house, one is waiting to start intensive outpatient treatment, there are three currently in intensive outpatient, two people are: in outpatient, two are awaiting assessment for inpatient in the jail, one person who is done with treatment and should be finishing up within the next month, and one person is on the run. Donna reported there are currently fourteen (14)individuals participating in the program. Seven people are in outpatient, there are three in inpatient, one: isi in al halfway house, one isi inj partial, and two are currently incarcerated pending termination hearings. We have two or three referrals.
