Prayer Commissioner White led the Court in prayer to begin the meeting. 2. Pledge of Allegiance to the American Flag and the Texas Flag The Court pledged their allegiance to the flags of the United States of America and the State of Texas. 3. Approve Minutes from Previous Meeting Upon motion to approve the minutes from the Regular Meeting on May 13, 2024, by Judge Carrasco, seconded by Commissioner Russell, the motion passed by a majority vote. 1 5. Consider Approval and Payment of Accounts Payable-Sharon May Sharon May reported the Accounts Payable List for May 20, 2024. Motion by Commissioner White, seconded by Commissioner Russell to approve Payment of the Accounts Payable as presented. Motion carried by majority vote. See attached. 6. Consider Treasurer's Payroll Report-Sharon May Commissioner Frye made the motion to approve the Treasurer's Payroll Report for May 15, 2024, Commissioner Wilkins seconded and the motion passed by majority vote. Consider and Discuss Creation of Election Administrator Position for Parmer County County Clerk, Susie Spring presented a recommendation from the County Election Commission to create an Election Administrator position for Parmer County. Consider and Discuss Integrity Steel Works Contract In Sheriff Geske's absence, Chief Deputy Vidaurri stated that the Parmer He presented the contract for Integrity Steel Works. This company does maintenance on all the jail cell locks and other detention locks. This is a yearly contract and the price has not gone up for this year. Judge Carrasco made the motion to approve the Integrity Steel Works contract for maintaining the jail locks.
