SPECIAL SESSION MEETING JUNE 13, 2024  Be it remembered on the 13th day of June at 10:01 o'clock A.M.,  there was Begun and Holden a Special Meeting of the Commissioner's Court in the Courthouse, in the town of Farwell, with the following members present,  To-wit:  Kirk Frye Charles Wilkins Casey Russell Sharon May Susie Spring Isabel Izzy Carrasco Kenny White  Commissioner Pct. #1 Commissioner Pct. #2 Commissioner Pct. #4 County Treasurer County Clerk Judge  Absent: Also Present:  Commissioner Pct. #3  David McArthur, Farwell Country Club  When the following was had and done, To-wit:  Call to Order 10:01 A.M. Club  In the absence of the Judge, Commissioner Frye called the court to order at 1. Consider and Discuss Sale of Alcohol Certificate for the Farwell Country  David McArthur presented a form for the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission for the sale of mixed beverages by the Country Club. Commissioner Frye made a motion to refuse this request. Commissioner Wilkins seconded and the motion passed by majority vote. With this refusal, the Country Club will apply under a private club to allow for the sale of alcoholic beverages at the Country Club.  With no further business to come before the Court, Commissioner Russell moved to adjourn. Commissioner Wilkins seconded and adjournment was called at  10:05 o'clock A.M.
