Monday, July 8, 2024, Special Meeting 6:00 PM  PThe City Council oft the City of Robert Lee, Texas, met in Regular Session at the City Hall at 6:43  p.m. Present: Absent:  Mayor Steven Arens, Council Members: Josh Tennison, Mike Stephens, Skyler  Rainwater, Jonathan Torres Brantly Robertson  Presentations and Proclamations Citizen Comments Consent Agenda Regular Agenda A. RLVFD Roof Repair  Discussion: The RLVFD reported leaks in their roof and they would like the City to fix it, as well as install some exhaust fans tol help with the heat inside the building. 9 quotes were provided by 5 different companies for the repairs on the VFD Roof. LCRA offers a 50,000 grant with a 20% match that can be used for the VFD roof repair, but the deadline to apply is July 30th. The council needs to pick a quote to submit to LCRA for the roof repairs as part of The council picked the quote provided by Parks Trailer LLC so long as the company has general liability insurance and workers' compensation insurance for its employees. IfParks does not have these types of coverages, then City Staff will contact Bass Roofing and see if  the application.  they have the required insurance.
