City of Princeton Housing Standards Commission Meeting Princeton! 2000E East Municipal Princelon Center Drive PRINCETON TEXAC Princeton, Texas 75407 Meeting Minutes Monday, September 23, 2024 The Housing Standards Commission Board of the City of Princeton, Texas, met on September 23, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. in the City Council Chamber at the Municipal Center, located at 2000 E. Princeton Dr. Princeton, Texas 75407. The following City Councimembers were present: Mayor Brianna Chacon, Mayor Pro Tempore Steven Deffibaugh, Councilmember Bryan Washington, Councimember David Kleiber, Councilmember Ben Long, Councilmember Marlo Obera, and Councilmember Ryan Gerfers. The following Councimember were absent: Councimember Carolyn David- The following Staff Members were present: City Manager Michael Mashburn, Interim Deputy City Manager John Land, Assistant City Manager Allison Cook, City Secretary Amber Anderson, City Attorney Grant Lowry, Police Chief Waters, Public Works Director Tommy Mapp, IT Director Rick Irvine, Director of Development Craig Fisher, Director of Marketing and Communications Erin Mudie, Parks and Rec Director Chase Bryant, Detective Rizzo, Detective Bradford, Fire Marshall Jerry Miller. Mayor Chacôn called the City Council Meeting to order at 5:02 p.m. Mayor Chacôn called roll, present were: Mayor Chacôn, Mayor Pro Tempore Steven Deffibaugh, David Kleiber, Marlo Obera, Bryan Washington, Ryan Graves. Gerfers, and Ben Long. Mayor Chacon announced Public. Appearance: Maxine Ellis. Mayor Chacôn announced the Consent Agenda: None Mayor Chacon announced the first item under Special Agenda D.1 2024-204: Receive update and discussion regarding the property located at 599 W. Princeton Drive and owned by Princeton Luxury Apartments, LLC. Mayor Chacôn & Council have asked that Craig Fisher, Director of Development Services, to collect additional reports and data to present at next meeting. Mayor Chacon announced Executive Session: Under terms of Chapter 551 of Texas Government Code the Commission may enter into Closed Session or Executive Session to discuss the following: Section 551.071 (2) Texas Government Code. Consultation with the City Attorney on pending or contemplated litigation, a settlement offer, or on a matter in which the duty of the attorney to the governmental body under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct of the State Bar of Texas clearly conflicts with this chapter on any agenda item listed elsewhere within this agenda, and/or the subject matter listed below: Mayor Chacôn announced there will be no executive session. ACTION PERTAINING TO EXECUTIVE SESSION: None Mayor Chacon asked for a motion of adjournment of the meeting. Mayor Pro Tempore Steven Deffibaugh made a motion to adjourn.
