Report from Council Liaison a) Update on the PARC August meeting Mayor Pro Tem Dufford reported that the Pickleball Court project is out for bid. The kayak launch has been replaced by the Council Member Weiler reported that the EDCI held aj joint meeting with the City Council and the Planning and Zoning Commission regarding the Commercial Corridor Character Code. Consider and act to approve an Interlocal Cooperation Agreement with Denton County for property assessments and collection between Denton County and Oak Point 720 Public Improvement 14. Consider and act to approve an Interlocal Cooperation Agreement with Denton County for the rehabilitation of McCormick Road between Vacht Club Road and FM 720. Council Member' Weiler asked that Item 12 be pulled from the Consent Agenda. Council Member Lusk made a motion to approve Items 11,13, and 14 of the Consent Agenda as Road. District, Improvement Area #1. presented; motion seconded by Council Member Hawrysio. Motion Passed 7-0 City Planner Coker explained the Site Plan to Council. He recommended approval with the condition that there be a correction of the Lot number from Lot 31 to Lot 4. There was discussion among Council about delaying the site plan until the character code was established or disapproving it due to the incorrect labeling of the lot. City Attorney Moore explained to the Council that the site plan met the criteria for approval and since it met all the criteria for approval it was considered a ministerial Council Member Lusk made a motion to approve the site plan with the condition that the Lot number and should be approved. duty be corrected to Lot 4; motion seconded by Council Member Bastaich. Consider and act on an ordinance repealing and replacing Chapter 8, Article 8.02, of the Oak Point Fire Chief Roach explained the changes to the ordinance for outdoor burning and answered questions. There was discussion: about the wording in Section 8.02.001(c).
