Mayor Diana Martinez led the Pledge of Special Projects Director Melisa Gonzales stated a reminder for the food drive tomorrow at Fireman' 's Park at 9am, on Thursday October 2gth we have the PSJA Memorial High School Homecoming Parade start at HEB, Friday October 29th the Pumpkin Patch at the Library will start at. :30pm-7:30pm, and Gear UP, will host a tailgate party, for Memorial HS football team. Mayor Diana Martinez. stated Coach Colunga called and invited all the commission to the parade Commissioner Pete Morales congratulated the Wolverines Tennis Team, they won the 5A Championship in Alice. Many of these students went through the Parks and Rec tennis program and we hope tos see them again. He would like toi invite the team to our next city meeting. D. Consideration and. Special Projects Director Melisa Gonzales stated this grant is an opportunity for the police department, it does have a 25%1 match and are currently working to locate the funds.. A total amount of $180,200j for 35 brand new body cameras and we are looking at a $45,000 match. We are hoping the appropriation dollars from Vicente Gonzalez come in and we could use those funds fort the match. Hibbs and' Todd on thel Need for anl Emergency Preparedness Plan for the City of Alamo's Water City Manager Robert Salinas. stated earlier this year the City Commission authorized Enprotech Hibbs and Todd to complete the RRA and ERP as required by Section 2013 of America's Water Infrastructure. Act of2018 (A WIA). The Texas Legislature recently passed. Senate Bill 3 which requires cities to provide an Emergency. Preparedness Plan of their water. system during extended power outages that last more than 24 hours. The EPP is required by March 2022 and implementation by. July 2022.
