Vote 3-21 with Mayor Diana G.Presentation of] Preliminary Water Meter Assessment Results by Schneider. Electric. Aaron Garcia and Ryan Wunder presented on the Water Meter Assessment. Results, Mr. Garcia stated Smart City Objective, this was done toi identify a solution for the City of Alamo that maximizes water revenue, energy ando operational savings. He continued to state Alamo' 's  addresses unfunded needs, modernizes City infrastructure, and  Opportunity to Capture Lost Water Revenue: Estimated. Revenue Increase & Utility Savings Annual Water Revenue Generation: $115,000 Annual O&M Efficiency Savings: $110,000 Savings & Revenue over. 20J years: $6,000,000 Annual Energy, Savings: STBD  Mr. Wunder stated the current meters are manually read causing inefficiency, human error; billing problems, meter re-reads. Mechanical meters lose accuracy over time which franslates to lost revenue for the City. Witht the cutting-edge technology- AMI (Automatic Metering. Infrastructure) itd allows for two-way communication, creating ani insightful customer  portal.
