Discuss and consider approving the second budgetamendment of the City of Alton Jeff Underwood, City Manager stated that this is the last budget amendment for the year where staff tries to reconcile everything and this is for the General Fund. The total revenues are at $8,381,419 and total expenditures are at $8,369,229 for an ending balance of$12, 190 to the good. Mr. Underwood stated that there were some building repairs that had to be done: from this budget but overall everything turned out okay. Staffrecommends approval. This year building codes are staying the same but some: fees are being updated as shown on the fee schedule provided. All updates will be minor changes to the ordinance. Staff recommends approval. Jeff Underwood, City Manager stated that this was another yearly item. The chart shows restructuring done in the Community Services and Public Works Department. Mr. Underwood stated that there were some title changes in both departments. Staff may be required by law to be published. Commissioner Ricardo Garza. JeffUnderwood, City Manager stated that the pay plan is for both civilian employees and first responders and covers all assigned and stipend pay. Adopting thej pay plan every year. keeps the auditors happy. There are no major changes to the plan only some title changes. Staff recommends approval. Motion carried 5-0. 11.1 Discuss and consider approval of TML Health Benefits Pool rerate for employee Jeff Underwood, City Manager stated that this is an annual item and he is happy to say that this year there is no. change to the rate for medical insurance. Discuss and consider designating the Fire Chief, Gustavo Ramirez, as thel Emergency Jeff Underwood, City Manager stated that with Steve Pena's retirement who was the Emergency Management Coordinator for a number of years, it is important to have someone to take on the duty. CITY MANAGER'S REPORT JeffUnderwood stated that October 12 there was a 5K Mission Pink Breast Cancer Walk with the Mission Hospital. There will be about 50 employees and families at the walk for the hospitals 15th Anniversary ofthe walk. IX.
