CALLI MEETING TO ORDER  Mayor Martinez called the special meeting of July to order at 6:00 p.m. on July 10, 2018 at the City of Alamo Municipal Building. Mayor Martinez led the Pledge of Allegiance and Criselda  Palacios led the invocation.  C.  CONSIDERATION. AND. ACTION ON A REQUEST FOR ASSISTANCE BY THE ALAMO DIAMOND DIVA ALL-STARS 6U TEAM TO DEFRAYTHE COST OF CP&D Director Bobby Salinas stated the Diamond: Diva All Star team willl bet traveling tol Laredo to1 represent the City of Alamo fori the World Series. Thel letter attached in the packet includes the total amount for eleven rooms needed for the players and coaches which is $5889.05 the amount Mayor Pro-Tem Petel Morales congratulated the team ont their accomplishments and stated he was confident they would represent the City of Alamo well. Mayor Diana Martinez motioned to approve the item as presented. Mayor Pro-Tem Pete Morales seconded. Motion carried Mayor Dianal Martinez stated she'd] love to see them bring back the trophy and tol be safe and stay Commissioner Trino Medina stated as a Dad he would coach his daughters and they never made it this far but congratulations on their accomplishments and they have the support of the entire council and city behind them. He presented a check to Coach Jessica Martinez for the team on  THE WORLD SERIES TOURNAMENTI PARTICIPATION.  iswith tax sincet the city is sales tax exempt but not] hotel tax exempt.  unanimously.  hydrated since ity would be hot.  behalf of! him and his wife.
