Acti what this created was an emergency, pay sick leave. In addition, it also extended the family medical leave act under the emergency pay sick leave an employee. from the city can take up to 80 hours for a COVID related reason. Under the extended family medical leave act an employee can take up to 12 weeks ifyou have to care for a child ifa child is unable to return to school because ofCOVID. This starteds since April 15' then ite expired on December 315, ifyou) have an employee who has exhausted this time as well, there are employees who have never used that bank. Consideration and action to approve an ordinance to reduce the speed limit along City Manager. Robert Salinas stated he had received a complaint regarding speeding. from a Ms. Garza, she sent an email not necessarily requesting a speed bump but rather making the public aware of the speed limit and a speed reduction. He stated he reviewed the ordinance and noticed there are, streets that have reduced speed and the majority of those are found ini the country club, the speed limit is 20 mph. Consideration and Action on an Ordinance Amending the Code of Ordinances, Title 10 Zoning Regulations to include Restaurants in the Permitted Uses in the Commercial Zoning District; toi include as a Conditional Use in the Commercial Zoning District the Sale of Alcoholic Beverages for On-site Consumption; and Amending the Definition of City Manager Robert Salinas stated Mr. Zavala is going through the ordinances and updating sections. In this particular ordinance he is changing the definition of Home Occupation and it currently does not make sense. He made restaurants a permitted use in commercial zone which was not in the zoning ordinance, he added the sale and on-site consumption within the CUP, removing the 300 foot requirement when it comes to restaurants.
