TOWN OFLAKE HAMILTON TUESDAY,SEPTEMBER 24, 2024  MINUTES 5:05PM  TOWNG COUNCIL SECOND BUDGET HEARING FY 2024-2025 MEETING  The Town Council of Lake Hamilton held the Second Budget Hearing Fiscal Year 2024-2025 Meeting on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at 100 Smith Ave., Lake Hamilton, FL 33851.  CALL TO ORDER INVOCATION  Mayor Wagner called the meeting to order at 5:05 p.m.  The invocation was given by Roberson. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE Pledge of Allegiance led by all. ROLL CALL  Roberson, Slavens and Wagner were present. Mathis was absent for the record. Staff: Town Clerk Borja, Finance Director Peterson, Interim Town Attorney Sabatini's representative Francheska Sabatini, and Town Administrator Sandoval were present.  SECOND BUDGET HEARING MEETING BUSINESS Mayor Wagner opened the public hearing at 5:06 pm. Mayor Wagner read the following for the record. adopt a balanced budget for the 2024-2025 fiscal year. the Reason for the Increase in Ad valorem tax revenue. The taxing authority'si name is Town ofLake Hamilton.  Iwill now open the second and final public hearing to consider levying the Millage Rate and to Reviewed the Budget and Discussed the Percentage Increase in Millage over the RBR and The Town ofLake Hamilton taxing authority is considering levying a millage rate of8.4276 mills, which represents a 18.3% increase over the previous year's rolled back rate of7.1239 The reason for the increase is to fund increased costs in the General Fund including an increase Public Hearing and Second Reading of Resolution R-2024-15 to Adopt the 2024-2025 RESOLUTION R-2024-15: A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LAKE HAMILTON, FLORIDA; ADOPTING THE MILLAGE: RATE FOR FISCAL YEAR 2024-2025 BEGINNING AT 12:01 AM ON OCTOBER 1, 2024, AND ENDING SEPTEMBER  mills.  inj personnel and for Capital Improvements.
