San Antonio Rd. - Los Altos, CA  2:00 p.m.  TEDI DECEN  SPECIAL MEETING  CALL MEETING TO ORDER: Mayor Weinberg called the meeting to order at 2:00 p.m. Pursuant to AB2449, Sally Meadows, Comncimember,nqusted to attend the meeting Motion by Fligor and Second by Lee Eng to approve the remote attendance ofCouncilmember  ESTABLISH QUORUM: remotely due to a medical issue.  Meadows. Motion carried unanimously by roll call vote.  PUBLIC HEARING  1. Conduct Interviews with Applicants to Various City Commissions and Appoint Members  to City Commissions  Melissa Thurman, City Clerk, provided the report. There were no speakers regarding the item.  The City Council conducted interview sessions with applicants to various City Commissions. At the conclusion of the interview sessions, the City Council voted to appoint applicants to  various City Commissions. The appointments were as follows:  Complete Streets Commission - Three (3) Vacancies, Four-Year Terms:  Steven Katz Suresh Venkatraman Tony Li  Environmental Commission - Three (3) Vacancies, Four-Year Terms:  Raashina Humayan Colm Nee David Recht Ken Fowler Gina Atkinson Suzanne Maguire-Negus  Financial Commission - One (1) Vacancy, Four-Year Term: Historical Commission - Three (3) Vacancies, Four-Year Terms:    City ofLos Altos City Council Special Meeting Minutes September 24, 2024 Page 2 of2  Parks, Arts, Recreation & Cultural Commission - One (1) Vacancy, Short-Term  Expiring in September 2027: David Young Susan Mensinger Richard Roche Eric Steinle Jayne M.
