Motion by Commissioner Hann to accept the May 21, 2024 Commissioners Meeting Motion by Commissioner Bunch to approve Accounts Payable, dated May 24, 2024, in  Minutes. Public Defender Phil Harper was listed on the agenda but did not need to meet with the  Commissioners.    422  Motion by Commissioner Hann to retroactively approve and execute the Indigent Defense Grant Program application submitted to PCCD Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency) through the Public Defender's Office for a total of $93,313.00 to be used for additional staffing, salaries and technology enhancement within the county with the stipulation that once the grant is depleted additional pay to  employees will cease. Elections Director Laurel Griest met with Commissioners to have a "Notice of Intent- Requesting Election Security Grant Funds" approved and signed for additional funding of $3,000.00 from the 2024 Election Security Grant. Griest presented a packet of information on other Election Matters to include a quote for upgrades for 15 Verity units through HART. Elect IT employee Rick Grissinger also met with Commissioners in relation to the discussion on the upgrades and stated that he along with Elections Director Laurel Griest will be able to complete them. in house with assistance from HART. This process will eliminate the need to ship the machines back to HART or have a Motion by Commissioner Hann authorizing Commissioner Bunch to execute the 2024 Elections Security Grant for additional funding of $3,000.00 allocated to Fulton County from a subgrant disbursed from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania based on, the number of registered voters in each county as of April 23, 2024 to be used for expenditures related to the 2024 Elections between March 24, 2024 and December 31, Commissioners met with Snyder Insurance Agent Bobby Snyder to review a policy on covering Elected Officials for Workers' Compensation. Snyder noted that he emailed CCAP for more specific direction and their response was that the county can electi to choose coverage for Elected Officials or not, however, if coverage is offered it was suggested to offer to everyone and those declining should fill out a waiver that be kept on file with the county. Motion by Commissioner Bunch authorizing Commissioner Wible to execute the MATP (Medical Assistance Transportation Program) signature page for Period January 1, Motion by Commissioner Hann to appoint Carol Strait to a 2-Year Term on the Advisory Board of Fulton County Services for Children to expire September 30, 2025.
