Session on August 20, 2024 to discuss legal matters. The Craft & Mercantile event will be held Friday, September 20, 2024. There will be an open house regarding the Randolph Woods Project, Phase 1, prior to the Borough Council meeting on Tuesday, October 15, 2024. 3. SPECIAL BUSINESS a, Escrow Release A motion was made by Council Member Frederick, seconded by Council Member Warner, and carried by a vote of5-0, to approve the #4 - final escrow: release in the amount of $16,622.38 for the land development plans associated with the St. Patrick Parish School addition. Trash Collection Contract Borough Council discussed the service levels and cost of the trash collection contract. A one-year extension will cost 6.0% more than 2024. The next-lowest bidder in 2023 was substantially higher. Cathy Raymond asked about the terms oft the options. Hugo Schmitt commented on Bulk Trash collection coinciding with PorchFest. August 6, 2024 Borough Council meeting, the Public Works Department presented aj proposal to purchase a Ventrac multi-purpose machine with accessories and attachments, including a cost comparison ofdifferent options. The request was put out for] public bid with the required advertising. A motion was made by Council Member Warner, seconded by Council Member Frederick, and carried by a vote of 5-0, to accept Anne Bennett's bid for $25,000 for a Ventrac 4000, subject to a bill ofs sale from the seller satisfactory to the Borough Solicitor. ZONING HEARING BOARD a. 3261 Raspberry Avenue A variance application to increase the building coverage of 326 Raspberry Avenue from 29.6% to 34.1%is scheduled for the September 23, 2024 Zoning Hearing Board meeting. The lot coverage is in compliance and would be reduced. The Planning Commission expressed support for the plan on the condition of compliance with off-street parking requirements, which the applicant has done.
