7  Hollidaysburg Sewer Authority 401Blat-Stnvet,Holidayaburg,lennsylwanla10048 814/695-7548  HOLLIDAYSBURG SEWER AUTHORITY MEETING BOROUGH COUNCIL CHAMBERS September 9, 2024 AT 5PM  The Sewer Authority Meeting was called to order at 5:00pm by Chairman Regis Nale, who presided. The following authority members were present - James Burke, James Fitch, Carol Gale, and Randall Manning. Also in attendance were Frank Hicks, Jr., Director of Wastewater Operations; Stacy Wert, Finance Director; Dan Beyers of the EADS Group; and Jessica Oswald, Recording Secretary.  The meeting began with the Pledge of Allegiance.  Minutes: A motion was made by Mr. Fitch to accept the August 12, 2024 meeting minutes. The motion  was seconded by Mr. Burke. The motion passed unanimously. Engineer's Report: There was nothing additional to add to the agenda. Treasurer's Report: There was nothing additional to add to the agenda at this time.  Management Report: The manager's report was outlined in the agenda packet provided to the Sanitary Sewer Line Improvement Projects - There was discussion on possibly using the remaining money from the Phase III project on two different projects. The consensus of the Authority was for Mr. Hicks and Mr. Beyer to look at separating the stormwater from Allegheny Street to Walnut Street and  Authority Members for their review.  also separating the stormwater in the Gaysport area.  Mr. Hicks reported that 707 Garber Street recently came into compliance.  Public Comments and Petitions: None  Unfinished Business: There was no unfinished business to be discussed.  New Business:  Resolution S-2024-09A - Resolution Approving Pay Requests and Change Orders for Hollidaysburg Sanitary Sewer Line Separation & Improvements Project, Phase III Following some discussion, a motion was made by Ms. Gale and seconded by Mr. Manning to approve Resolution S-2024-09A - PENNVEST Payment Request No. 8 for reimbursement to the Hollidaysburg Sewer Authority in the  amount of $542,114.68. The motion passed unanimously.  HSA-9-9-2024  Page 1of2    Resolution S-2024-09B - Resolution Approving Pay Requests and Change Orders for Berwind Road Sanitary Sewer Installation Project - Following some discussion, a motion was made by Mr. Fitch and seconded by Mr. Burke to approve Resolution S-2024-09B - approving pay requests and change orders for Berwind Road Sanitary Sewer Installation Project in the amount $18,565.78. The motion passed  unanimously.  Requests for Payment and Requisitions:  Resolution S-2024-09C - Approving and authorizing payment of the following expenses and requisitions, Amotion was made by Mr. Manning and seconded by Ms. Gale to approve thei following payments.
