Townof Colorado Board ofTrustees Regular Meeting Thursday, July 18, 2024, 61 p.m.  Cedaredge  Call to Order & Pledge of Allegiance: Mayor Hart called the meeting to order and led the Roll Call: Mayor Greg Hart, Mayor Pro Tem Jim Atkinson, Trustees Steve Anderson, Cordell Chapman, Justin Hoffbauer, Mick Murray and Jerry Pippin. Let it also be shown for the record that Town Administrator (TA) David Torgler, Attorney Bo Nerlin and Deputy  Pledge of Allegiance at 6:00pm.  Clerk (DC) Brooke Kissner are also in attendance.  Agenda Approval:  Motion: Mayor Hart moved, and Trustee Steve. Anderson seconded to amend the agenda to Roll Call Vote: All voted 'aye,' no one voted 'nay,' the motion passed unanimously, and the  move. Item 10, Application for Mesa Point PUD forward to Item 7.  agenda was approved. Consent Agenda: 2024.  Motion: Mayor Pro Tem Jim Atkinson moved, and Trustee Steve Anderson seconded to approve the consent agenda with the amendment ofResolution 09-2024 from Resolution 08- Roll Call Vote: All voted 'aye,' no one voted 'nay,' the motion passed unanimously, and the  consent agenda was approved. Constituent Time: act regarding this.  Judy Weaver: 18002 Ward Creek Road. Stated Grand Mesa Picklers needed an answer from the board as to when the pickleball courts would be built. Ms. Weaver stated the board needed to Kelly Rogers: 325 SE Flagstone Court. Stated pickleball courts within residential areas are worrisome because noise levels create negative impacts for people living within the residential Steven Symmes: 300 SE Cobblestone Court. Spoke to Centennial, CO: regarding their pickleball Ordinance. Mr. Symmes stated the board needed to research and speak with Centennial. Mr. Symmes stated pickleball courts should not be closer than 250 ft of residential ACFR Review and Approval: Blair and Associates presented the Annual Comprehensive  areas where pickleball courts are added.  areas. Resolution 08-2024 Attorney Bo Nerlin.  Motion: Trustee Mick Murray moved, and Trustee. Jerry Pippin seconded to approve Resolution 08-2024 with Condition Number 15 referencing a taxing authority as stated by Roll Call Vote: All voted 'aye,' no one voted 'nay,' the motion passed unanimously, and Resolution 08-2024 was approved subject to the conditions; including condition number 15. Motion to Adjourn Mesa Point PUD hearing: Mayor Pro Tem Jim Atkinson moved, Trustee Mick Murray seconded the motion, and the Mesa Point PUD hearing was adjourned at 8:36pm.
