CITY OF HOLLAND CALLED CITY COUNCIL MEETING Kuhlmann Center -1 107V West Travis Tuesday, May 24, 2005@ 6:30PM  Minutes  The Called Council Meeting of the City Council of Holland, held on Tuesday May 24, 2005 was called to order by Mayor Curt Murray, @ 6:31 PM in the Kuhlmann Civic Center in the All council members were present, Mae Smith, Sharon Simmons, Terri Crum, Teddy  City of Holland, Texas. Gaines, CR Siprian. I.  Consider/Act awarding bid, and authorizing Mayor to sign contract for Home Grant Consultant Services. The mayor explained that the reason this was back ont the agenda is that he had vetoed the council action to approve Traylor selection at last council meeting. He stated that he and others on the council did not understand the Traylor bid and this is why the item was put! back on the agenda. He gave each bidder 5 minutes to present/explain their bid proposal. After hearing the bid presentations of Grant Works, Traylor & Associated, Kerbow and Associates, (Grant Development was not present, though he had been contacted regarding the meeting, and he has not withdrawn his bid. There was much discussion regarding each company proposal. Terri Crum made a motion to award Kerbow and Associates the Home Grant contract for consultant services and authorize the Mayor to sign contract, which was seconded by Sharon Simmons. Mae Smith abstained. The remainder of the council were in favort to include Teddy Gaines, and CR Siprian. Motion passed. Consider/Act on appointing Mayor pro tem. Sharon made motion to appoint Teddy Gaines, seconded by Terri Crum, all were in favor and motion carried. Motion for Adjoumment made by Terri Crum, seconded by Sharon Simmons, all  II.
