CITY OF HOLLAND CITY COUNCIL MEETING Kuhlmann Center-1 107 West Travis Tuesday, August 22, 2005 @7 7:00PM  Minutes  The regular monthly Council Meeting oft the City Council was called to order by Mayor Curt Murray and was held on Monday, August 22, 2005 @7F PMI int the Kuhlmann Civic Center in the City of Mayor and council members were present were Teddy Gaines, Mae Smith, Terri Crum. CR Siprian was absent due to a death in his family, and Sharon Simmons was absent due to illness. Citizens' Comments. Notice was placed in newspaper inviting participants and interested parties to meeting. Also invited were new applicants for grant. Mae Smith made motion to appoint Terri Crum as lason/representative oft the City Council of the Action on Wolf landlease contract was tabled as motioned by Terri Crum, seconded by! Mae Smith, till ac called meeting on Monday, August 29. All were in favor and motion carried. Mr. Wolf and chamber willl be sent letters inviting them to discuss enewa/termination of lease. Action on proposal for 2005 Auditor, Brockway, Gersbach, etc., and Mayor's authorization to sign proposal was approved in a motion made by Terri Crum and 2"d by Teddy Gaines. All were in favor Proposed Budget was explained by Alton Thiele, as well as the Proposed Tax Rate. They were approved in motions made by Terri Crum and 2nd by Teddy Gaines on the Tax Rate and' Terri Crum and Mae Smith on the Budget. All were in favor and motions approved. Public notice will be Mayor reported that a donation of $1,000 was made to the City by the Cornfest Association.
