Ave. A, addressed the Council and thanked the staff and Council for what they are doing; sent a letter out to Council Members about grey water and would like to see something establish to use grey water; Cleanup Ingleside was successful in picking up trash; every Tuesday pick up 2-6 pounds of cardboard for recycling; and Elaine Rodgers, 2020 FM 2725, addressed the Council about the consideration of bringing back the Mustang Pride Never Dies and using it as a booster, fundraiser to benefit the Athletic Department, and toj paint the town with Mustang Spirit by having the Cindy Wilson, 2635 San Angelo Avenue, addressed the Council about the pool staff doing a tremendous job keeping the kids safe and following the rules, and requested for additional shade for the pool and to consider high quality umbrellas that can withstand Rita Hardy, 2840 Azelea Ln, addressed the Council about the objection on the paving of the lot across the street fromt the Humble Center, the negative impact ofap paved lot, green areas, and asked the Council to consider the drainage and loss of soil when paving. Discussion was held between Council Members and City Manager Lewis about the meeting with TxDOT representatives, and State Representative Senator LaMantia to discuss SH 200, the $2M tol help fund the project, the infrastructure bank, meeting with industries tol help fund SH 200, not wanting the citizens to pay for a road that will not benefit them; HWY 361; safe routes to schools; street lighting programs; and the poles lost during Hurricane Harvey.
