Thel Regular Councill Meeting oft the City ofIngleside was called to order by Mayor Adame at 6:30 p.m. on February 27, 2024, at Humble Station Community Center, 2821 Main St., Ingleside, TX and live video streaming. 2. Roll Call. With Council Members present a quorum was established. Pro-Tem Tracy) Long, Julio Salinas, and Mayor Adame. Council Member Pruitt led thei invocation. Council Members Present: Steve Diehl, Stewart Wilson, David Pruitt, John Salinas, Mayor 3. Invocation. 4. Pledge of Allegiance. Mayor Adame led the Pledge of Allegiance to the U.S. flag. 5. € Citizen Comments and Reports Club for their 90th Anniversary. Cindy Wilson, 2635 San Angelo, addressed the Council about protecting thel Legacy Oaks during drainage projects, and requesting the Council do al Proclamation for the Women's Desiree Beaudry, 2032 Hwy 361 Apt.# 612, addressed the Council about the Comprehensive Master Plan, and handed out pictures of maps to indicate an area where the City could protect and maintain the habitat of wildlife, especially birds. Vicky Cook, 3009 Lakeview West Dr., addressed the Council about having the Public Library expanded, by adding a gazebo to Faith Park for outdoor Library events. Mike Stempelmann, 2447 Avenue C, addressed the Council about ani issue witha ar neighbor, handed out photos for the Council tol look at, and requested assistance with the neighbor. Mayor Adame made a statement of fact indicating that he did interact with Mr. Stempelmann regarding the neighbor issue, and said the pictures are true. 6. Staff Comments and Reports A. Update on Overall General Projects ont the projects that have changes: Director of] Infrastructure Services Paredez addressed the Council giving a brief update Project No. 1: Kenny Lanel Roadway Improvement, contractor is preparing tol begin the Project No. 2: Wastewater Treatment Plant, awaiting final approval from TCEQ. Project No.3 3: Houghton Drainage Improvement, is currently slated tol be completed by construction. March 1, 2024. Project No. 6: Animal Control Facility is under construction; the foundation has been placed and contractors are proceeding with erecting the building. Project No. 7:1 Hultgreen Improvements, most of the water line has been replaced, and Project No. 7a: Multi-Purpose Athletic Fieldsi is complete and pending closeout. thel Bulk Collection Facility is pending. the wastewater line will follow. Project No. 7b: Garden Center is currently being contracted. Project No. 7c: Faith] Park Walking Trail is in design phase. Project No. 8:N.O. Simmons Playground Lighting is under design.
