CITY OFC COOPER  PUBLIC HEARING #3 TAXI RATE ABOVE EFFECTIVE RATE  SEPTEMBER 16, 2021-5:00PM  COUNCIL MEMBERS PRESENT: DARREN BRADDY; MAYOR, DAVID PHILLIPS, ALLEN FOSTER, AMANDA  L'ESPERANCE AND DIANE STEGALL VIA ZOOM CITY ATTORNEY: JAY GARRETT  OTHERS PRESENT: KASEY BRITTON, CAROLYN BIGGERS ROBERTS, SHAUNA HOLLOWAY, TANNER CRUTCHER, CHARLES RUZICKA, BELINDASTEWARD, CHARLA SINGLETON, AND LINDA BARNES  ABSENT: ELMO ROBINSON AGEDAI ITEM#1  Mayor Darren Braddy called the public hearing to order and Darren aiso voiced the prayer. Darren again presented to the public that the city needed to go above the effective rate in order to fund the city's portion of the rotating fire department for Monday-Friday 6:00 AM1 to 6:00 PM. Tanner Crutcher was present and stated that having the rotating fire department for the daytime hours could help the VFD get al better ISO rating, which is currently a 4.
