CITY OF COOPER CITY COUNCIL MEETING - PUBLIC HEARING AUGUST 26, 2019 = 4:30PM  COUNCIL MEMBERS PRESENT: DARREN BRADDY; MAYOR, DAVID PHILLIPS, ALLEN FOSTER,  AMANDA L'ESPERANCE, AND DONNA THOMASON  CITYA ATTORNEY: JAY GARRETT ABSENT: WILLIE "BEAR" WILKINS  OTHERS PRESENT: EMILY HOWSE, KENNETH APPLEGATE  AGENDAI ITEM #1  Mayor Darren Braddy called the public hearing to order. Mayor Braddy stated that this public hearing was to allow publici input on the proposed 2019-2020 budget year tax rate increase. Kenneth Applegate was the only person present. Darren asked Kenneth if he had anything to say on this matter. Kenneth did not. After the implementation of the new vehicles, fire hydrant issues and salaryi increases were briefly discussed, Mayor Braddy closed the public hearing.  Allen Foster left abruptly due to at family emergency.  Amanda L'Esperance made the motion to adjourn. Donna Thomason seconded. Vote  unanimous.
