Approval of Minutes From Regular Parks and Recreation Board Meeting August 22, Motion was made by Member Denton to table approval of minutes until the next meeting.  2024.  Motion was seconded by Member Rasco.  Chairperson Gilbert Called for the Vote by A Show of Hands.  Motion Passed: 5-0-0. Discuss and Take Possible Action To Make A Recommendation To City Council To Request Authorization To Use Monies From The Parks Board Expense Account, NotTo Exceed $600 For The Completion of The Master Gardener, Rain Garden Project at Motion was made by Member Denton that the Parks Advisory Board make a recommendation to City Council to request authorization for expenditures not to exceed $1,000, for the completion of the Master Gardener, Rain Garden Project at Augusta Park. Motion was  August Park.  seconded by Chairperson Gilbert. Motion Passed: 5-0-0.  Chairperson Gilbert Called for the Vote by A Show of Hands.  3. Discuss and Take Possible Action To Make A Recommendation To City Council To Request Authorization To Use Monies From The Parks Board Expense Account, Not To Exceed $6,000, For The Completion of The "Loose Parts", Natural Educational Play Area Motion was made by' Vice-Chairperson Abney to table item #3 for this meeting and revisit this on the agenda on the September 26!h regular meeting. Motion was seconded by Member  at August Park.  Rasco.  Chairperson Gilbert Called for the Vote by A Show of Hands.  Motion Passed: 5-0-0.  4. Discuss and' Take Possible Action To Make A Recommendation To City Council To Request Authorization To Use The Remaining FY 2023-2024 Parks Board Expense Monies, Not To Exceed $2,000, For The Planning and Execution of the 2024 Spooktacular Event and After October 1, 2024, Use FY 2024-2025 Parks Board Expense Motion was made by Vice-Chairperson Abney to make a recommendation to City Council to request authorization to use monies from the Parks Board Expense Account, not to exceed $3,700 for the planning and execution of the 2024 Spooktacular Event. Motion was seconded  Monies, Not To Exceed $3,000, For The Same.  by Member Maurer. Motion Passed: 5-0-0.  Chairperson Gilbert Called for the Vote by A Show of Hands.
