SPECIALSESSION September 26, 2024  The Thorndale City Council met in Special Session on Thursday, September 26, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. ini the meeting room of City Hall, 105 North Main Street, Thorndale, Texas.  Present-  Mayor - George Galbreath Jr. Mayor Pro Tem - Wayne Green Council -Michael Becker, Shanta Kuhl Employees -Ray Miller, Stacy Irwin Council- - Jared Melde, Steven Zuehlke  Absent- 1. Call to Order  Mayor Galbreath called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Mayor Galbreath.  2. Pledge of Allegiance  3. Discussion and action on the review and approval of payment of the bills. After reviewing the bills, Councilman Becker made the motion to approve payment of the bills. Motion was seconded by Councilwoman Kuhl and carried, 3-0. 4. Discussion and action on review and approval of the Minutes from September. Councilwoman Kuhl made the motion to approve the minutes. Motion was seconded by 5. Discussion and action to transfer money from the Fire Department Budget into the After some discussion, Councilman Green made the motion to transfer the money into the Fire Truck Fund. Motion was seconded by Councilwoman Kuhl and carried, 3-0. 6. Discussion and action to approve Ordinance 2024-10a amending the 2023-2024 Councilman Becker made the motion to approve Ordinance 2024-10amending the Budget. Motion was seconded by Councilman Green and carried, 3-0. 7. Discussion and action to vote for a candidate to serve a two-year term on the TML After some discussion, Councilwoman Kuhl made the motion to vote for Dr Christopher Harvey, Mayor of Manor. Motion was seconded by Councilman Green and carried, 3-0. With no further business, Mayor Galbreath declared the meeting adjourned  Councilman Becker and carried, 3-0.  Fire Truck Fund.  Budget.
