In attendance were. Mayor Owens and All proposed agenda items were considered as presented and properly before the A. Opening: The meeting was called to order by Mayor Phil Owens.  Commissioner Weber. Absent was Commissioner Romero.  Commission for debate and vote.  B. Agenda  1. The meeting was adjourned to go into public hearing for the 2023-2024 budget 3. Item 3 was called. The planned 2024 tax rate and the 2023 tax rate were 4. Item 4 was called. Controlling backyard vegetation: City entry to al homeowner's backyard requires an administrative permit from JP court. Aj permit is required fori inspection and another permit for mowing. Prior to requesting the permit to mow, the normal City vegetation control notification process must be followed. C.The meeting was adjourned. D. Citizen Public Comments:  Security cameras: A citizen requested consideration ofinstalling security cameras at the entrance to the City. He will study cost and other considerations Front yard vegetation control: Two citizens stated that front yards of vacant houses are not properly maintained. The Mayor stated the vegetation control ordinance was originally written for vacant lots and suggested the two citizens study and make recommendations for changes applicable to front yards.  and report at a subsequent City meeting.
