Stagecoach Road Salado, Texas  Minutes of Regular Planning and Zoning Commission  Meeting July 23, 2024, at 6:30 p.m.  The Planning and Zoning Commission meeting was called to order at 6:32 p.m. by Commission Members Present: Jim Lassiter, Lennox Alfred, Ron Cunningham, and Robert Schwindt (Alternate). Members absent: Bev Turnbo, Jeff McClure Staff Present: Village Administrator Manny De La Rosa, City Planner Gina Pence.  Chairman Jim Lassiter.  1.  PUBLIC COMMENTS No Public Comments  2. DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE ACTION  A. Consideration and possible action to approve Meeting Minutes of. July 9, 2024. B. Consideration and possible action on recommending: approval of Salado Mr. De La Rosa presented drawings of the plat and was available to answer questions. He recommended approval of the plat. Questions included whether there were two functioning entrances. A second entrance is included. The number of lots was also discussed. Mr. De La Rosa explained the situation with neighboring properties and easements. Mr. Inselman was also present to address any questions. Motion to approve the plat was approved by unanimous consent. C. Discussion on updating the Comprehensive Plan.  Minutes were approved by unanimous consent.  Sanctuary Phase 1B Final Plat.  Chairman Lassiter recommended waiting until absent members were present to discuss this item. Mr. De La Rosa explained he has prepared an Ordinance to adopt the 2019 Comprehensive Plan. No action taken on this item. D. Discussion and possible action on proposed IH-35 West Side Overlay District Chairman Lassiter recommended waiting until all members were present  Amending Zoning Ordinance. before proceeding.
