City ofMidway City Council Meeting Minutes Special Called Meeting August 5, 2023  The meeting was called to order at 12:00 p.m. by Mayor Brenda Ford John Whitmire, Brandee Curtis and Water Operator Janet Boone.  Those in attendance included Mayor Brenda Ford, City Secretary Debra Newkirk, Council members Rexl Newkirk, Marc Nelson and Gus Kangos, and Wes Savage. Unable to attend were Council members The City Council was meeting in a special called meeting for thej purpose of discussing a situation in the well yard. Wes Savage informed the Council that we have discolored water in the new ground storage tank, and iti is only in the new tank; however, this discoloration is appearing in certain areas around town. At10 p.m. on Friday, August 4th, the new tank was completely shut down. Pictures were presented: for Council members to see the same photos that had been texted to Wes. After some discussion, Council When the Council members returned from the well yard, the following action items were requested: 1. Ai message be sent via thej phone tree to: request that residents voluntarily cut back on their 2.
