Page 667 Page1of1  MINUTES September 27,2024  SPECIAL CALLED CITY COUNCIL MEETING  The City Council of the City of Jasper, Texas met on September 27,2024, with thet following  members present to wit:  Anderson M. Land, Jr.. Marcus Barber.. DeMarcus Holmes.. Ronald Sample.. Angel McCroskey.. Lequin Hilderbrand. Greg Kelley.. Liz. Jarrell..  Mayor Council Member/Absent Council Member Council Member Council Member Council Member City Manager City Secretary  The meeting was called to order by! Mayor Anderson! Land at 12:00pm and opened with prayer by Finance Director Robbie Peek. All the members were present except Council Member Marcus Barber. Mayor Land then asked for public comments, and there were none. Motion was made by Council Member Ronald Sample to approve thet following: Resolution No. 3016 Ratify the No-New Revenue Rate of 0.2226 Ordinance No. 092724A- 2024 Taxl Rate Adoption Ordinance No. 092724B- 2024 Tax Roll Appraisal and' Taxl Levy  Seconded by Council Member DeMarcus Holmes. Council Member Lequin Hilderbrand asked the net difference with the No-New Revenue Ratei fromi the Proposed Rate. City Manager Greg Kelley stated it was a difference of $208,143., Ar roll call vote was held. Council Member Demarcus Holmes voted yes to approve. Council Member Ronald Sample voted yes to approve. Council Member Angel McCroskey votedy yest to approve. Council Member Lequin Hilderbrand voted yest to approve. Motion  passed unanimously.
