Roll Call and Call to Order By Commissioner Rosso at 5:341 P.M.  Board Members Present: Daphne Fletcher Clifton Hall Justin Jones Bill Bicker (Absent) Christopher Rosso Darla Dudley (Absent) Administration & Staff: Katherine Reading, City Manager Shannon Pruitt, City Secretary 2. Invocation was led by Commissioner Hall  3. Pledge of Allegiance to the U.S.A. Flag and Texas Pledge was led by Commissioner  Rosso.  4. Public Comments: There were: no comments made. 5. PLANNING AND ZONING ACTION ITEMS:  A. Discuss and consider taking action to recommend adding a land use fora commercial service ofa Tattoo studio. Presented by Katherine Reading, City  Manager.  Item requested at the previous P & ZI Meeting. Discussion ofZ Zoning Districts.  Recommendation needed:  New Land Use, Tattoo Studio outlining a specific definition. Safety Code. A tattoo. studio may also encompass a permanent cosmetic makemp.studio, provided it serves as an accessory use. to the tattoo studio. Commissioner Hall seconded the motion. Motion carried - all ayes.  B. Conduct Public Hearing, discuss, and consider approval of adopting the Zoning Map from 2018 adopted Comprehensive Plan. Presented by Katherine Reading,  City Manager.  Published two: notices for the Public Hearing int the newspaper Goes before City Council on August 5, 2024 Published on the website in the form of an agenda  Regular Planning and Zoning Meeting Minutes, July 25, 2024    Commissioner Rosso opened the Public Hearing at 6:03 pm.  Noj public comments made. Closed Public Hearing at 6:03 pm. the 2018 Comprehensive Plan.  Commissioner Hall made ai motion to approve adopting the Zoning Map as presented in  Commissioner Fletcher seconded the motion.  Motion carried - all ayes.  C. Consider approval of minutes from the Planning and Zoning meeting held on June Commissioner Jones made ai motion to approve the minutes presented from the. June 27,  27,2024. 2024 Meeting.  Commissioner Fletcher seconded the motion.  Carney abstained. Motion carried - all ayes.  6.ADJOURN MEETING:  Commissioner Carney made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 6:10 p.m.  Commissioner Jones seconded the motion.  Motion carried - all ayes.
