THESTYOF - ZELKHART  CITY OF ELKHART CITY COUNCIL  SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES  February 13, 2024  6:00 pm  City Hall  A. CALL TO ORDER, PLEDGE, AND INVOCATION  Mayor Jennifer McCoy called the meeting to order at 6:02 p.m.  Present: Mayor Jennifer McCoy, Councilmember Lucia Butler, Councilmember Randy McCoy, Mayor Pro Tem James Warren, Councilmember Tammy Baughman, Sunshine Alcorta and citizen William Ellis.  Absent: Councilmember Chuck Conner.  The pledge of allegiance was followed by the invocation given by Councilmember Randy McCoy.  B. PUBLIC COMMENTS No Public comments. REGULAR AGENDA  Discuss, Consider, and Possibly Take Action Regarding:  1. Adopting Ordinance, No.02052024-01, Ordering the May 4, 2024, General Election. No. 02052024-01 to call the May 4, 2024, General Election. All in favor, motion carried.  Councilmember Randy McCoy made a motion, seconded by Councilmember Lucia Butler to adopt Ordinance 2. Adopt Resolution 2024-01 appointing an Anderson County Appraisal district representative for the 2024-2025 Councilmember Tammy Baughman made a motion, seconded by Randy McCoy to adopt Resolution 2024-01 appointing Lucia Butler as Anderson County Appraisal district representative for the 2024-2025 term. Alli in Councilmember Lucia Butler made a motion, seconded by Councilmember Tammy Baughman to adopt Resolution 2024-02 FEMA Multi-jurisdiction Hazard Mitigation Plan.
