Mayor Pro Tem Chuck Conner moved to consider and adopt the Property Tax Rate to the September 20, 2021, Council Meeting to be held at 6:00 p.m. The motion was seconded by Councilmember Tammy 2. Discuss and take action, if any, on Proposed Budget for the Fiscal Year October 1, 2021-September 30, Mayor Pro Tem Chuck Conner moved to consider and adopt the Budget for the Fiscal Year October1 1, 2021- September 30, 2022, to the September 20, 2021, meeting to be held at 6:00 p.m. The motion was seconded by Councilmember Tammy Baughman. Mayor Pro Tem Chuck Conner seconded the motion. With all voting 'aye', the motion 6. Discuss and take action, ifa any, on buying a saw blade attachment for the side mower, Boom axe. After discussion, Councilmember Tammy Baughman made ar motion to table this item until the September 20, 2021, Council Meeting. The motion was seconded by Mayor Pro Tem Chuck Conner. 7. Discuss and take action, if any, on Ordinance 02192019-1 Mandatory connection to City Sewer (which was tabled on 2-4-19, to be brought back to council on 2-19-19 and tabled until 3-18-19). This Conner seconded the motion. With all voting 'aye', the motion carried. carried. With all voting 'aye', the motion carried. Ordinance was not brought back for approval on 3-18-19. Councilmember Tammy Baughman made a motion to table this discussion until the September 20, 2021, Council Meeting. The motion was seconded by Mayor Pro Tem Chuck Conner. With all voting 'aye', the motion carried. D. PUBLIC WORKS REPORT Public Works Director Eric Clark reported to the Council the number of waters leaks this month being 8. There were two sewer problems, adding new sewer lines, 20ft and 601 ft consecutively at the locations. Het founda customer who had two homes on one tap on County Rd. 130, which had to be resolved. Wastewater Brush motors were back on line. Pressure tanks up at Newsome Well, waiting on pump approvai from TCEQ. Liftat Hemby is back on line. The construction on 1817 by the Electric Company is progressing and being watched. He will be getting a timeline on the school sidewalk construction. MUNICIPAL COURT/BUDGET REPORT Judge Alan Gell gave an update on the budget and the budget process. No court information at this time. F. MAYORS REPORT Playground has been installed. Metal Anchor is working swing sets. There will be need for more borders and mulch. City Wide Garage Sale is scheduled for October 2, 2021, being orchestrated by Michelle Howell. P.O.
