CITY OF ELKHART CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL HEARING  AV THECITYOF ELKHART Monday, September 14, 2020  MEETING MINUTES  6:00 pm  City Hall  A.  CALL TO ORDER, PLEDGE,AND INVOCATION  With a quorum present, the Special Meeting of the City of Elkhart City Council was called to order by Mayor. Jennifer McCoy at 6:00 p.m. at City Hall, 110 West Parker Street, Elkhart, Texas 75839.  Present:  Mayor Jennifer McCoy, Mayor Pro Tem Raymond Dunlap, Councilmember Lucia Butler, Councilmember James Warren, Councilmember Daryl! Faulk, Councilmember Chuck Conner, and City Secretary Ami Ashworth. *Mayor Pro Tem left the meeting at 6:22 p.m  B. C.  PUBLIC COMMENT None REGULAR. AGENDA relations policy.  1. Discuss and take action, if any, on approving Resolution No. 2020-004 adopting a council Discussion was held. Councilmembers expressed that they were happy with the way things Motion was by Councilmember Conner, seconded by Councilmember Faulk to approved Resolution No. 2020-004 adopting a council relations policy. Upon vote, motion carried 4-0. 2. Discuss and take action, ifa any, on temporarily closing the City Office on Friday's.  are moving forward in the City of Elkhart.  Discussion was held, City Secretary informed council that the new billing database would be going live in the following week. To prepare fort the transition city staff requested that the Motion was made by Councilmember Conner, seconded by Councilmember Faulk to temporally close the city office to the public Wednesday, September 16th, Thursday, September 17t, Friday, September 18+, and Friday, September 25th for software changes.  office be closed to the public on Friday's.  Upon vote, motion carried 4-0.  ADJOURN  Motion was made by Councilmember Butler, seconded by Councilmember Faulk to adjourn meeting.
