CALL TO ORDER Mr. Cocanougher called the meeting to order at 4:02 p.m. and opened the public hearing. 1. APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF THE BOARD MEETINGS HELD: A. HEAR PRESENTATION FROM ANDREW SIMONSEN WITH KIMLEY-HORN REGARDING THE WATER TREATMENT PLANT EXPANSION AND RAWWATER INFRASTRUCTURE. Andrew Simonsen informed the Board; The Raw' Water Pump Station was built in 1965 on TRWD property and has a 3.0 MGD capacity. The Raw Water Line is 12.6 miles of 12" (1965,1993) and 20" (2003, 2008) with a 3.0 MGD capacity. The Water Treatment Plant was originally built in 1965 motion. The motion was unanimously approved. and has a 3.0 MGD capacity. The raw water expansion scenarios include: 4.8 MGD Combined Capacity Replace 2.85 miles of 12" Ductile Iron Pipe with 24" pipe Existing pump station to remain in service with improvements: Pump Replacements Electrical Improvements SCADA Improvements Pump Control Valve Improvements Replace all 5.15 miles of 12" Ductile Iron Pipe with 24" pipe New raw water pump station at TRWD location 6.6 MGD Combined Capacity The Water Treatment Plant expansion scenarios include: 4.51 MGD Combined Capacity Utilize 1.5 MGD of new membranes with existing 3.0 MGD plant Newi infrastructure and technology Expandable for future capacity Get to year 2027 before future capacity required New infrastructure and technology Expandable for future capacity 6.0MGD Combined Capacity Utilize 3.0 MGD of new membranes with existing 3.0 MGD plant 233 The pricing options: 4.8 MGD Raw' Water Line and Existing Pump Station Improvements = $15,382,000 1.5 MGD New Water Treatment = $30,700,000 Total = $46,082,000 6.6 MGD Raw' Water Line = 18,180,000.
