ABSENT: Andrew Sandford  OTHERS PRESENT: General Manager Greg Hall. City Manager Nate Mara, City Secretary  Asucena Delgado, and Intern Micah Brooks.  CALL TOORDER  Mr. Cocanougher called the meeting to order at 4:02 p.m.  1. CONSIDER APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF THE BOARD MEETING HELD JULY 10, 2024. Mr. Reeves moved to approve the minutes as presented. Ms. Carson seconded the motion. The 2. RECEIVE PROPOSED BUDGET FOR 2024-2025 AND SCHEDULE A PUBLIC HEARING General Manager Hall presented the proposed budget. Mr. Cocanougher scheduled a public hearing for August 28, 2024, at 4:00 p.m. Mr. Williams moved to approve the public hearing. Mr. 3. DISCUSS AND PROPOSE BY RECORD VOTE THE AD VALOREM TAX RATE FOR 2024/2025 AND SCHEDULE A PUBLIC HEARING FOR AUGUST 28, 2024. Mr. Cocanougher scheduled a public hearing for August 28, 2024, at 4:00 p.m. Ms. Carson proposed a 032219 cent tax rate. Mr. Reeves seconded the motion. The vote was unanimous.  vote was unanimous.
