Jill. Smith  Mayor Powell read speeches recognizing our special guests. Chief Henken expressed his gratitude to our special guests. Each guest was presented with a certificate of recognition.  Mavor Update:  Comcast installed waiting on Steve Vaughn for the camera project. club and rotary club will be contributing to thei meal.  Thanksgiving Community Meal- November 23rd at 51 p.m. Currently all churches, civic There will be al benefit for Officer Turner on November gth, 2024 will be fried fish plates, silent and live auction. There is currently Brandon Turner Benefit bank account set up at The First State Bank in Angleton for donations to Officer Turner as well as venmo linked to that account. There is ai meal train if anyone isi interested in signing up forar meal. PASSES  General Business:  1. Discussion and Consideration ofl Regular Council Meeting Minutes from 9.19.2024. Motion by Heather Martin and seconded by Gordon Hatthorn to approve the  regular council meeting minutes from 9.19.2024.  PASSES  2. Discussion and Consideration of Appraisal District Board of Directors nominations by  resolution.  Dies due to lack of motion.  3. Discussion and Consideration of electrical quotes for Skrabanek Park.  TABLED - October 17, 2024 meeting  4. Discussion and Consideration of Ordinance 24-21 replacing Ordinance 24-11 Utility. The Ordinance reflects the sewer rates voted on at the 9.19.2024 meeting. Motion by Rocky Hicks and seconded by Heather Martin to approve Ordinance  24-21 replacing Ordinance 24-11 Utility.  PASSES 5. Utility Update.  New awning installed: iti is bigger and built better than the previous one. Driveway at the waste water treatment plant is complete. New pump at the tower has been installed. 3hrs to fill instead of 61 hrs. Purchased utility trailer for them to haul the lawn mowers around town when  mowing.  No luck with applications at this time. are waiting on the results.  Generator at the waste water treatment plant has had diagnostics ran on it and we Tony completed his waste water test and passed. He now holds a double D license. Keith Woods asked, if the rotar we bought had been installed yet. Mayor Powell answered, it is $19-$20.  6. Discussion and Consideration of Road Projects for FY25. Rocky Hicks and Mayor Powell shared their lists.  Mr. Womack voiced concern about culverts being blocked with leaves and debris Mayor Powell will prioritize the two lists and include mileage for them.  causing drainage issues. Mayor Powell let everyone know that this is the grant that was awarded for the Softball field lights in the amount of $250,000.00 and no match required from the City.
