Judge expresses his gratitude and excitement for Mrs. Tuma to be doing this project. He explains the poor condition of the current document record storage and that it has been very much needed. He explains that the funds will be through arecords archive management fund, which is collected by the county clerk's office, that is specifically for this type of project. Allen presents a list of vendors who submitted RFP's for furnishings for the county courthouse. Her recommendation is to use Intelligent Interiors as first Judge presents that this is within the capital courthouse restoration budget and is less than he and the architect projected. Requests for removal and installation ofnew graphics to match Fire Marshal's Office instead ofPublic Works, as well as a bed cab or camper and bed slide/cargo slide. Use some of the capital 1) IOT internet - radio frequency which will allow remote monitoring of radio tower sites for environmental monitoring such as power goes out or A/C fails. Wide range area network that's regulated unlicensed radio frequency. Cost not to exceed $15k but anticipate half that cost due to purchasing raw base materials to build themselves. Will first order a small amount of equipment to do range testing. 2) Radio communications with HAM radio and GMRS to start adding field equipment. HAM radio primarily used for weather watch for Sky-Warn and Aries. GMRS is similar to HAM requires license, regular frequency band - primarily used for outdoor enthusiast such as offroaders, hikers, etc. Can provide direct communication with someone who is lost. APERS doesn't. have to talk to them but can locate them other way. Test equipment and the range and different radios and features. Cost not to exceed $8k out of capital.
