Bexar County Emergency Services District No.. 3  September 3, 2024 5:30 PM MINUTES  In accordance with Chapter 551 oft the Texas Government Code, notice is hereby given to the public that the Board ofCommissioners of Bexar County Emergency Services District No. 3 (BCESD No. 3)1 had a Special Meeting on September 3, 2024 at 5:301 PM at the Bexar-Bulverde Fire Department Station 105, 25408 Canyon  GolfRoad, San Antonio, Texas, 78260.  1.  Commissioner Wilkinson called meeting to order at 5:30 PM and a quorum was established by roll call. Robert Moss, David Diharce, Ray Wilkinson, George Drew, and John Kirk were present at roll call. Commissioner Wilkinson announced that Stacy Shults, BCESD No. 3. Administrative Assistant, would  act as the Recording Secretary for this meeting. Welcome and recognition of citizens. None.  2. 3. 4.  Citizen Comment. None  Review, discuss and take action on the approval of the 2025 Operating Budget. Executive Director. Jerry MOTION: Commissioner Moss made motion to approve the BCESD No. 3 Budget for Fiscal year ending 9/30/2025 in the total amount of$13,982,619.00 as presented at today's Special Board Meeting which reflects a revenue surplus ofS1,110,800 which budget will be funded by a tax rate of $0.065493 per $100 taxable value of the properties in the district supplemented by Texas Sales Tax revenues and that a copy of the 2024' Tax Rate Calculation Worksheet be attached to the budget by appendix as required by Section 26.04 Subsection (e-5) of the Texas Tax Code.  Bialick presented the proposed 2025 Operating Budget. Discussion was held.  2nd. Commissioner Diharce MOTION PASSED: 5/0 in favor. Close meeting. 2nd: Commissioner Drew.
