CITY COUNCIL TEMPLE CITY, CALIFORNIA SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES SEPTEMBER 17, 2024 1. CALL TO ORDER Mayor Chavez called the City Council Special Meeting to order at 5:42 p.m. in the City Attorney Murphy announced that Mayor Pro Tem Yu will appear remotely as allowed per Assembly Bill (AB) 2449 invoking the "Emergency Circumstance" due to illness. This will be his first remote participation in 2024 pursuant to AB 2449. He will be keeping his camera and microphone on for the duration of the meeting. Councilmember Chen made a motion to approve Mayor Pro Tem Yu's participation as allowed per AB 2449. Seconded by Councilmember Sternquist and approved by Council Chambers located at 5938 Kauffman Avenue, Temple City. the following votes: AYES: NOES: ABSENT: 2. DISCUSSION ON REVENUE OPTIONS FOR THE CITY'S RESIDENTIAL The City Council is requested to receive an overview of the City's residential street rehabilitation and maintenance needs and discuss funding options to City Manager Cook gave a summary and presentation of the City's residential street rehabilitation and maintenance program and funding options.
