There are still façade grant monies and council have ont the agenda to givet them a vote of confidence on thet two façade painting projects for thel back of Auto Plus and the font oft the building that used tobe Main Street Gypsy. Thel Monongahela recreation they are still waiting toj pay out the vendor. 2. None oft the 2024 CDBG are active yet. They are still waiting on the approval from HUD which she expects to get soon. Therei isal Parkl Project and a Street Project. 3. The Sidewalk Project includes CDBG and Keystone Funds. They are attempting to finalize 4. The 2023 Streets Project bid documents are almost ready. She spoke to Chris Spahr and they have decided that since iti is sol late in the season, they are going toj put it out for bid in Item for] Discussion: Johanna Burdine stated distributed the letter informing the City of the 2025 CDBG Funds and asked that Council start considering projects they would like to use the funds for. Action Steps: Council will discuss and consider what projects they would like to allocate the Report: Terry Necciai, 4001 Meade Street, representing thel Main Street Program, stated that the Main Street Program has heard questions regarding sidewalks down town. Hel has tentatively spoke to the Redevelopment Authority about the possibility of something like al Façade Grant Program so that we could encourage. a property owner toi fix the sidewalk and offer them ai reimbursement ofaj part ofthe cost. This may take ay year or so toj put together but he wanted council tot think about it. He would also like Council to consider using CDBGI Funds for rehabilitation ofal building rather than demolition. Item for Discussion: Councilman Gadd askedi ifthe County may have funds available for the City toj purchase some property onl Lincoln Street that is for sale to potentially put a park.
