Motion carried unanimously.  Minutes: Amotion was made by Councilman Poague and seconded by Councilman Imbrogno to approve the minutes from the regular meeting held on May 13, 2024. Motion carried Guests & Public Comment: Northern Pennsylvania Regional College representative Jodi Guisto gave a presentation ont the degree and training programs provided locally by the Johnsonburg Community Trust board members Stephanie Distler and Christina Tigani were present to clarify their request for financial assistance for locating the Community & Economic Development Coordinator in their space on Market St. This matter was turned over to the  unanimously.  college.  finance committee for further discussion.  Monthly Reports  Finance & Bills for Payment: President Maletto read the borough's account balances and the bills. This month's bills include General Fund - $13,890.15, Community Center Fund- $6,219.78, and Community Improvement Fund - $1,181.80.) A motion was made by    229  Councilman Poague and seconded by Councilman Warmbrodt to pay the bills as presented Mayor: Mayor Paget informed the public that the new Nittany Mart store is opened.  and to accept the finance report. Motion carried unanimously.  Police: Monthly report is oni file. Chief Clopp was excused.  Fire Chief: Monthly report is on file. Superintendent: Monthly report is on file.  Engineer & Code Enforcement Report: Monthly report is on file. Engineer Ryan Miller updated Council on the theater building (528 Market St) demolition. The. Johnsonburg Community Center Exterior Restoration Project will begin in. July after alumni weekend. A discussion was held on how the project will be conducted. A brief discussion was held on the W. Center St. storm water project and Powers Run dam. CodeEnforcement: Code enforcement officer Chris Lindmar was present to discuss the  enforcement process of code violations.  Recreation Board: Minutes and reports are on file. Councilman Poague recognized the efforts oft thev volunteers in revitalizing the community center over the last four years. Council Committees: A personnel committee meeting was set up for the following day. Solicitor: Solicitor Thomas reported that the Elk County Election Board will be meeting on Municipal Authority: Johnsonburg Municipal Authority Manager Brian Buesink reported on  June20tht to approve our ballot referendum concerning the EMS tax.  current authority projects.
